KFG Student Ambassadors

We need your help to spread the word about Keep FOCUS Growing, our annual fundraiser to help cover costs such as pioneering new campuses and our administrative team. Has God used people in this ministry to bless your life? Help us Keep FOCUS Growing to every campus in DFW by telling people all about it!

ASKING

Whether they give or not, you get free rewards just for telling people how you have seen God at work on your campus!

  • If you ask 3 households, you get a sticker.
  • If you ask 5 households, you get a keychain.
  • If you ask 10 households, you get a shirt!

One “household” per ask (e.g.: you can ask your grandma and your grandpa, but if they live together and share an income, that is one ask. But communicating the ask to both may be more effective!)

 

An “ask” can be in person, through the phone, or via text. You will report who you asked here and we will keep track.

 

Here is an example of something you can say to help us Keep FOCUS Growing!

“I have loved being a part of FOCUS at [your campus]. God has used this ministry and the people in it to help me to love Jesus more and I have made so many friends. Would you be interested in giving to their annual fundraiser? They have a goal to bring FOCUS to every college campus in DFW and I am so excited for the next generation of students to be impacted the way that I was. You can give online at anyfocus.org/kfg2025!”

Some tips:

  • Start with your parents and both sets of grandparents!
  • You know these people and they like and love you. They will be excited about things you’re excited about. So don’t be stressed!
  • If they say no, it’s not personal rejection! There are lots of reasons people say no that have nothing to do with you.
  • Ask with confidence and without apology. People pick up on nervousness and intimidation. Be confident and calm and they will, too!

REWARDS

On top of the rewards you earn for asking people to donate towards Keep FOCUS Growing, you also have the chance to earn rewards based on how much money you fundraise through your referrals! On the Keep FOCUS Growing donation page, people have the option to enter in your name to credit you for their donation.

  • If you raise $250, this hat is all yours!
  • If you raise $500, you will stay cozy in a new hoodie!!
  • If you raise $1500, you will be staying hydrated with a custom Owala water bottle.
  • If you raise $4000, you will be listening to worship music out of new AirPod Pros (or Sony WF-1000XM5 if you prefer non-Apple).

FAQ:

  • What is Keep FOCUS Growing?
    • While our campus missionaries each fundraise towards their own salaries, those funds don’t cover things like outreach materials and events, staff development, administrative supporter, or pioneering new campus ministries. The annual Keep FOCUS Growing campaign helps provide for those opportunities and ensures that FOCUS can continue growing and being a presence on college campuses throughout DFW!
  • Are my donations tax deductible? Is FOCUS legit?
    • Yes! FOCUS is a faith-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization and all gifts are tax deductible. In addition, we hold certificates accredited through ECFA (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability) and Candid.
  • Can I stack my rewards?
    • Yes!!!! You can receive every single item you see here. When you reach the next tier, you get that reward and all of the rewards from the previous tiers!
  • I asked both of my parents. Is that one ask or two?
    • One “household” per ask (e.g.: you can ask your mom and your dad, but if they live together and share an income, that is one ask). If they are divorced and two different households, that’s two asks.
  • How can I prove that I made an ask?
    • We will have you fill out a google form here. We trust that you will use integrity to raise money for your Christian ministry. 
  • How do people give?
    • They can give online at anyfocus.org/kfg2025. There is a option to enter in your name on the donation form to credit you with their gift so that you can earn rewards.
  • How do I know how much I’ve raised?
    • You can view the sheet here to see if anybody has given and marked you down as the referrer. The first tab of the sheet will reference all donations with referrers and the second sheet will sum up all donations under each referrer name.
