After growing up in Midland, Miriam made her way to scenic Denton to attend UNT. Pursuing a BA in Communications allowed her to professionally develop her love of people and stellar group project skills. She later received her MRS degree in November, 2014. Supported by her husband, Austin, and their dog, Camilla, Miriam loves working at her alma-mater helping students become more devoted disciples of Christ. Other likes include dancing, Criminal Minds, charcoal gray, and desserts of any kind. Her dislikes include video games, olives, movies about exorcism, and abstaining from desserts.
Aaron joined FOCUS while a student at Collin College, where he developed a passion for ministering to community college students. He transferred to UNT, graduating with a degree in Drawing and Painting. This has given him a unique perspective on worshiping the Lord and ministering to others through his art. This year Aaron will be facilitating our new ministry plant at North Central Texas College in Corinth, TX. In his free time Aaron often enjoys redecorating the house, haircut ministry, or an episode of the Andy Griffith show!

Danielle graduated from UTD twice and began working as a Speech-Language Pathologist, which she still does half-time. She was an intern at UNT before joining their staff. She enjoys long walks on the beach, playing with her cat, and folding people’s laundry. She loves doing ministry with college students because of their enthusiasm and passion!
Born and raised in the plains, Brittany graduated from UTD in 2011 with a Bachelors in Finance. Brittany married Kevin in 2012, and their heart for ministry and music carried them to Austin and Nashville. Despite her best efforts to escape the plains and live in the hills, God moved her back to Texas to be a campus minister with FOCUS. Although Texas is much less green than Tennessee, it also holds some of her favorite memories—most of which came from serving in FOCUS as a UTD student. She is very passionate about equipping college students to be disciples, and could not be more excited to be serving in Denton with her husband and their new baby girl, Willow.
Kristen joined the Denton team after graduating from the University of North Texas. She found FOCUS her freshman year, and has been excited about what God’s doing through campus ministry ever since! In her free time, she enjoys listening to audiobooks that are narrated by people with Scottish accents. She fancies herself a butterfly enthusiast, and will always say yes to free queso.
Rhett first joined FOCUS as a seventeen-year-old freshman with bad hair at the University of Texas at Dallas. There, he learned what it means to follow Jesus and disciple others. After realizing the heart God had given him for ministry, he decided to pursue the FOCUS Apprenticeship, which landed him in Denton. Rhett thinks he will fit right in with the artsy crowd there, thanks to his marketing degree. He is addicted to drinking unsweet tea and reading books at McDonald’s. If McDonald’s ministry were a thing, Rhett would be doing it.
