Brittany Tydlacka

Denton Director - brittany@anyfocus.org - blog

Born and raised in the plains, Brittany graduated from UTD in 2011 with a Bachelors in Finance.  Brittany married Kevin in 2012, and their heart for ministry and music carried them to Austin and Nashville.  Despite her best efforts to escape the plains and live in the hills, God moved her back to Texas to be a campus minister with FOCUS.  Although Texas is much less green than Tennessee, it also holds some of her favorite memories—most of which came from serving in FOCUS as a UTD student.  She is very passionate about equipping college students to be disciples, and could not be more excited to be serving in Denton with her husband and their new baby girl, Willow.

Ryan Bristow

Campus Missionary - ryan@anyfocus.org - blog

Ryan graduated from UNT with a degree in Integrative Studies, concentrating on Sociology and Emergency Management. Those four years in FOCUS at UNT really grew his love for Jesus and for other people, and were a huge factor in why he wanted to go into full-time ministry after graduating. After working the past couple years with the students at Collin College, he and his wife are back in Denton working hard to raise their first dog right.

Shayla Trotter

Campus Missionary - shayla@anyfocus.org - blog

After spending a brief 7 years at UNT completing her degree in Integrative Studies, she decided to make it an even 8 by doing the FOCUS Apprenticeship. One of Shayla’s visions for campus ministry is that people know they are worthy to be known, and their stories are worth listening to. When she’s not hanging out with college students, she can be found petting every dog she sees, eating breakfast tacos, spending time at her local trampoline park, or starting a show 3 years after its premiere date.

Kristen Stroud

Campus Missionary - kristen@anyfocus.org - blog

Kristen joined the Denton team after graduating from the University of North Texas. She found FOCUS her freshman year, and has been excited about what God’s doing through campus ministry ever since! In her free time, she enjoys listening to audiobooks that are narrated by people with Scottish accents. She fancies herself a butterfly enthusiast, and will always say yes to free queso.

Reagann was born and raised in the DFW area and just graduated from UNT with her bachelor’s degree in chemistry. Towards the end of her freshman year, she got involved in FOCUS and fell in love with campus ministry. Although she had planned to pursue forensic chemistry after graduation, God tugged her towards the apprenticeship. In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with friends, eating queso, and reorganizing her book collection.
