Where is Winter Retreat?

Riverbend Retreat Center

Why Winter Retreat?

Winter Retreat is a chance to reset and draw near to God before the semester starts. We will engage with our faith intellectually and deepen our relationships with one another so that when we return to campus we are ready to be lights on our campus.

How much is Winter Retreat?

Depending on how long you will be attending, we have 3 different price/stay options:

  • Up to 3 overnight stays (all 4 days), up to 8 meals (all meals) – ($175)*
  • Up to 1 overnight stay (2 days), up to 5 meals – ($110)
  • No overnight stay, up to 3 meals – ($45)

Do You Have Any Discounts Available?

Yes! If you are registering for the full weekend (up to 3 overnight stays, up to 8 meals), we have 2 different discounts available.

  1. If you will not be able to make it to dinner on Friday, Jan 12, you can opt out of dinner on your registration for a $9 discount.
  2. If you want to opt out of the hot breakfast that the retreat center prepares on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, you can indicate so on your registration to receive a $21 discount. Note, even if you opt out of a hot breakfast, you can still eat snacks from our snack table for breakfast at no additional cost.

With both discounts, the price of the full weekend can be discounted a total of $30, bringing the total to $145. Note that these discounts are only available if you register for the full weekend.

Who is Speaking?

Dr. Daniel D. Lee is the founding Academic Dean of Fuller Seminary’s Center for Asian American Theology and Ministry. Ordained in the Korean Presbyterian Church Abroad (KPCA), he has served in pastoral roles in both New Jersey and Southern California. He was previously a chaplain and, for several years, a field staff member for the campus outreach Servants Ministry in Virginia.

I have dietary restrictions!

If you will be eating the meals provided by the retreat center (for breakfast, lunch, and dinner), you will need to inform them directly so that they can prepare food that is safe for you to eat! You will need to do so through the following link before the end of December. Winter Retreat is from Friday, Jan 12 – Monday, Jan 15 and our group name is FOCUS. Also let them know if you will not be attending all of retreat or will not be eating any particular meals on specific days.
